I am pretty disappointed in Lebron. I thought he was going to stay in Cleveland, I even tweeted it. I think it is a terrible show of character not to call the Cavs' owner and let him know your decision before broadcasting it on TV. I also think Lebron should have had a letter or statement to be released to the city of Cleveland right at the beginning of the show last night. He should have been grateful and humble regarding his time in Cleveland.
I don't like the ability to virtually completely tear down a team in hopes of signing three max contracts. I personally believe Miami knew what was going to happen before they began dismantling their team. Wouldn't you have had a contingency plan ready just in case you didn't get Bosh and James, perhaps even Wade? Wouldn't a good businessman/general manager be talking with other big name FA's if you had the chance to end up with just Chalmers and Beasley?
The whole act was a sham. However, to avoid league penalties, James put on a good show talking with even the Clippers! I thought his tweet of "the road to history starts now" upon landing in Miami.
